My friend Anne took me to her local library - so amazing and with a marble fireplace! I love libraries and fell hard for this one. Can you imagine curling up here and reading…reading…reading?
Call me lucky to read an early review copy of Cécile Desprairies novel The Propagandist and now it’s out in the world. Beautifully translated by Natasha Lehrer. Cécile’s novel has stayed with me - a haunting narrative, important and so current.
And what’s not to love at this patisserie?
